Founded in 1965 by Russell Becker, one of the pioneers of commercial television in Australia, Becker was Australia's first independent distributor of television programs. Today, Becker is a leader in television and film production, distribution and exhibition.

Becker produces a wide range of quality television programs including documentaries, entertainment shows, children's programs, live sports and drama and is a leading supplier to all major Australian broadcasters. Becker's international clients include broadcasters in the US, the UK and France, Germany, Japan, China, and the multi-country channels operated by Discovery Communications Inc, National Geographic Channels International, Nickelodeon, Disney and Fox.

Becker is also a leading producer of local language programs in Asia. Operating out of Singapore and Jakarta, Becker produces close to 400 hours of programming annually.

Becker is a specialist in providing live television engineering services to producers and broadcasters worldwide through its subsidiary, On Site Broadcasting (OSB). OSB provides outside broadcasting facilities for the majority of sporting events in New Zealand and is strategically expanding its operations worldwide.
